Boating

Yesterday we went on the shortest boat ride in history. Kyle, Sheila, and Chloe invited us to go boating at the lake with them. We thought it would be fun. So, out we to their house we went. We got everything loaded up and drove to the lake. We all loaded into the boat and backed into the lake. About the time Kyle was unhitching the boat we all looked up into the sky...and what did we see??? Very dark rain clouds. Then, we looked out on the lake and noticed that most of the other boats were heading toward shore to load up. So...we pulled back up on the boat trailer and pulled out of the lake! We went back to their house and put the boat away and then enjoyed a good dinner at the Pizza Ranch. Overall, Malik seemed to enjoy his first boat ride. We're hoping the next one might last longer than 2 minutes!
