Malik is really enjoying climbing on things. Actually, he can't really climb up anything so he likes to be lifted up (on to the bed, chairs....) so that he can then crawl around and slide down. We spend quite a bit of our days doing this. Malik especially loves to sit/stand on Sophie's pillow to look outside.
Malik also desperately needs to have his hair cut. He ends up with some very crazy "hat hair" after being outside!
In other news...
*Malik is loving being able to walk. He also enjoys being "chased" around the house by anyone who will participate in the game.
*He currently has three words in his vocabulary: Go, mom, and something resembling "cracker"
*The blissful days of Malik eating anything are over. He is beginning to be somewhat picky about what he will and will not eat. His choices vary day to day, which makes meal planning a bit of a guess. In addition, he could win a contest for "how far can you throw your food from your highchair!"

And the picky eater thing is highly annoying when you make a nice meal that he has enjoyed before and now, he just doesn't "feel" like eating it ... oh the mark of independence!
