The weather conditions were not overly favorable, but they pressed on anyway. We have gotten so much rain, the ground was pretty saturated (okay, muddy). Saturday was probably the hottest day of the year so far with the heat index being over 100 degrees and then it rained even more on Saturday night.
As it turns out, we also are lacking a single inch of level ground in our backyard, so that added an extra challenge to the project as well.
These guys are such troopers! Malik is thrilled to have his very own "park" and we hope the boys and their friends will get to enjoy it for years to come. Thanks so much for all of your hard work!
