Dinner with friends

Last Thursday night we got to have dinner at our house with the Johnson's. Jen and I were roommates my junior year in college. We were so excited that she, along with her husband Joel, and their two girls were able to come over. They live in Manhattan, Kansas but were in the area visiting her parents.

This was also the first time we were able to meet the new additions to each of our families. Jen and Joel welcomed their second daughter, Alexa, into their family just two days after Elias was born. It was fun to share our pregnancies together this time around.

Malik and Ellie also enjoyed getting to play together again. They hadn't seen each other since April or so.

Thanks for a great night, Jen and Joel....we so wished you lived closer!
