Open Wide!

We took Malik to his first dentist appointment today. We had been prepping him for the past few weeks and playing pretend dentist at home a lot. He was more than willing to cooperate at home but not so much when we got to the office today.

Dr. Leigh is a good friend of mine and really did a nice job with Malik. Eventually he let her 'count' his teeth. She was able to get a good look at them and said that everything looks great for now. We'll try again in 6 months.

Malik was pretty pumped for his new toothbrush and the prizes he got to pick out of their treasure box at the end.
