I stole this idea from a blog I follow as I really have no original thoughts of my own!
One afternoon after the boys woke up from their naps I declared to them that I thought they were both 'Dino-mite'. I presented them with these really stellar dinosaur hats (thank you Dollar Tree) and we headed out back.
While they were sleeping, a dinosaur had laid eggs in the yard (filled with jelly beans, strange dinosaur, I know.) Some other dinosaurs had managed to bury themselves in the sandbox and an archaeological dig was required.
The boys had a great time and it was fun to change up our normal afternoon routine. Maybe you know someone who is 'dino-mite' as well!
