Malik recently completed his reading curriculum book when Grandma Phyllis was here for a visit. He's been working on this book for almost two years (we took last summer off) so we're really proud of him for completing it all the way to the end. And, as the curriculum promised - he can read! Way to go Malik-
To celebrate finishing well, Malik chose to get ice cream from Jerzy Freeze in Monroe. It's a great little place and we got two birds in one stone, since a visit there was also on our summer bucket list.
