Today we planted my tree. When I was born, Pella Corp. gave Mommy and Daddy a certificate to help buy a tree at a local nursery to plant at our house (this is very handy since the tree that used to be in this spot fell down during the ice storm!). The tree and I will grow up together. We planted a Red Sunset Maple. It will have pretty red leaves in the fall. I can't wait!
