Surprise Lunch!

On Monday, I found out that my college roommate and great friend, Jen, was in town to see her parents for a few days. (Jen and Joel, and their little girl Ellie, live in Kansas. You may remember that we visited them on our way home from Texas last fall.)

It was a great surprise that Jen,Ellie, and Jen's dad, were able to meet us for lunch on Tuesday. The kids had fun and it was great to catch up a little bit.

Jen is also expecting...and we're having our babies just 2 days apart (both scheduled c-sections)! It's been fun to go through our pregnancies together this time around.
