Cedar Falls or bust!

Last Thursday afternoon, the boys and I headed up to our old stomping grounds of Cedar Falls to visit my dear friend, Nicole. We hadn't been up there since before Elias was born, so a trip was well overdue. Poor Greg had to stay home and work. Sorry, honey.

Malik and Avalon had a great time playing together. He loved dressing up in the 'knight' costume. He'd say, "Don't worry princess, I will keep you safe!"

Josh and Elizabeth came by for a quick visit on Thursday night. It was good to see them as well. Josh, as well as my boys, loved Nicole's two bearded dragon lizards. The things kind of grossed me out and I was glad for their secure cage!

We headed home Friday afternoon during nap time...it was a quick trip...but a great one!
