The 1st grade classes at Malik's school worked hard this fall to prepare for their holiday performance. They sang many holiday songs and recited several poems by memory. They were scheduled to complete the performance three times; twice at local nursing homes and once at the school. Due to an overwhelming level of sickness in the classrooms the first nursing home performance had to be cancelled. Malik missed the second nursing home performance because he had finally come down with some of the junk being passed around.
We attended the performance at his school. The gym is tiny and does not have a stage. The pictures leave a bit to be desired since I forgot my real camera and that Malik was in the back row on the other side of the gym. Regardless, we enjoyed watching them and thought they did a great job!
