We took Malik to his first Central College Basketball game yesterday. We met up with my friend Amy and her son (a buddy of Malik's), Jaxon. Amy's husband, Mike, is the head coach for the basketball team.
Malik was pretty interested in the game for the 1st half. He enjoyed a bag of popcorn and though it was pretty cool that he and Jaxon got to go out on the court during half time to "shoot hoops." The entire second half he kept asking if it was time for his turn again. He also asked several times why the "big boys were wearing their pajamas." The concept of uniforms was a bit foreign to him.
Central won the game and we all went out for dinner after the game to celebrate. It was a fun evening for us all.
