Malik received several new puzzles for Christmas, all which require him to actually match the pieces together. In case there was any question before this, yes, he is a mini-me of Greg (who can work on puzzles for hours at a time.)
Malik has pretty much gone puzzle crazy. The first thing he wants to do in the morning is work on his puzzles. He chooses this over having breakfast, which is a big deal for him! We do each puzzle several times every day. He even demanded to take them up to his room last night at bed-time.
He had some significant frustration the first few days of working on the puzzles, but after he figured out how they worked, he's been flying solo ever since. The video is pretty boring and long. I'm mainly just posting it so that I can document what he's doing at this time (although the look of satisfaction on his face when he finishes is pretty cute!)
