Last Thursday, my mom and I flew with the boys to Houston, Texas visit my grandma and aunt, uncle, and cousin. It was the first time either of the boys had flown. We had a short layover in Atlanta and landed in Houston mid-afternoon. The boys did a great job on both of the flights. Elias barely fussed at all and Malik enjoyed watching some movies on his DVD player and eating lots of fruit snacks and granola bars!
Here we are outside the Houston airport waiting for my mom to come pick us up in the rental car. Between all of our bags, car seats, and strollers, we had a lot of stuff! The Chinese woman in the background was very friendly and helped to entertain the boys despite her self-declared 'poor English'.
Malik took this picture. It was amazing to be outside without jackets-the weather was absolutely beautiful!
