Outside fun-

We spent a little time at the outdoor arboretum. Malik enjoyed the flowers but his favorite part was finding two caterpillars. He carried this one around on his stick for a while and then decided to let it go. Almost immediately after doing so, he started crying because he 'really missed his caterpillar'. Luckily, another caterpillar was soon found, allowing us to avoid a complete emotional disaster.








My cousin, Stacey, was kind enough to spend some time drawing chalk out on the driveway with Malik. He told me he 'needed to do some exercising' and was 'hot'. Thus the no-shirt push-up look. Nice.








We also visited a park to feed the ducks and play on the playground. We had come to the same park the last time we were in Texas. There weren't quite as many ducks this time, but Malik seemed to enjoy throwing the bread for them nonetheless.
