On Monday we headed to McCormick's State Park which is about 10 minutes from Grandpa and Grandma's house.
We enjoyed a mile hike (perhaps 'walk' would be a better term), picnic, some time playing at the playground, and a peek at the waterfall.
Our pockets were stuffed full of treasures (nuts, leaves, and feathers) by the end of the walk.
This is one of the only pictures that proves I was on this vacation as well!
