We spent our last night in Chicago at a hotel in Elm Hurst. It put us about 45 miles closer to home and was very close to where Jeff and Wendy attend church, which made it convenient for them on Sunday morning. We had adjoining rooms and the boys seemed to enjoy a change in scenery.
We spent quite a bit of time in the hotel pool. Malik has been hesitant before about swimming, getting his face wet, etc. Much to his surprise, he was tall enough to be able to play around in the 3 foot section without getting his head wet. He had a great time and we were thankful for a good swimming experience for him!
Elias quickly learned that jumping in the pool was lots of fun-
