We were supposed to have our home school pre-school Christmas party last Friday but thanks to a blizzard warning, it had to be cancelled. The boys were pretty disappointed so we tried to do our best at home on our own.
They both enjoyed our yearly tradition of making gingerbread houses. More appropriately, they should be called 'graham cracker' houses, but somehow that sounds less festive. A friend of mine suggested we use old milk cartons to support our structures - brilliant! No frustration with crackers falling in. Seriously, why did I not know about this idea?
All smiles below...I'm sure it had nothing to do with the amount of candy that was being put in their mouths instead of on the houses, right?
