We enjoyed our final home school preschool field trip to a friend's farm this past Friday. I wouldn't call it a 'working farm' but more of a 4H farm. There were chickens, ducks, bunnies, horses, and ponies. The kids had a great time.

Elias riding Buster the pony. He thought a pony ride sounded great until he was on top of the horse. Then he wasn't so sure. With some encouragement, I was able to get him around the circle once and then he was done.
These are Polish chickens. Seriously one of the funniest looking birds I have ever seen. They are raising them to show at the state fair this summer. I laughed every time I saw one that morning.
