Greg has been waiting for a basketball hoop for years. We decided to enlarge the driveway first in order to provide some extra playing room and an extra parking space. They came the last week of April to do the concrete work. They boys had a great time watching all of the equipment.
This is what they used to dig the hole for the basketball hoop. It took them all of 5 minutes. Greg thought this was a much better option than him digging all day with a shovel!
Greg was able to assemble the hoop with some help from a couple of friends. They were so great, even working in the rain!
A job well done!
(And yes, the hoop is set in the lowest possible position in this picture. It extends up, up, up with a crank on the back of the pole.)
