For once, the weather on the 4th of July was actually nice! We headed down to the square to watch the annual parade. It's mostly tractors, old cars, and kids on bikes. Pella focuses its parade efforts at Tulip Time. However, they do throw candy at this parade, which makes it tolerable.
For dinner we grilled out and enjoyed some home made ice cream. It was delicious! It was a late night staying up to watch the fireworks but the boys enjoyed it and even slept in a little the next morning, which was terrific!
