Grandpa Dave and Grandma Connie came for the weekend. It was the first time they had been to Tulip Time so it was a bit too bad that there weren't any flowers for them to see!
The weather on Friday evening was perfect. The boys enjoyed playing some games of mini-golf and basketball.
It's our tradition to eat funnel cakes covered in strawberries and whipped cream while we watch the evening parade. Grandma Connie says it's the first time she's ever had a funnel cake (I can hardly believe this!) I love how Malik is popping around Grandpa Dave's head with his cheesy smile :)

Despite how he looks, Elias really did enjoy watching the parade. It was quite a bit after his bedtime by this point!
